Combined water meters

Product description

Such a concept enables the operation of the water meter within an extremely wide flow range with a high measurement precision. They ensure continuous water measurement in a very wide operating range, typically in systems with high peak flows rates as for example industrial facilities and “combined” system of sanitary water and fire protection system. Combined water meters still use turbine Woltmann water meters for the main water meter, while the by-pass water meter is multi-jet or volumetric. They are manufactured in two versions:

• Main and by-pass water meter in one, mostly for dimensions from DN 50/20 to 100/20.
• Main and by-pass water meter are separate, for dimensions from DN 50/20 to 150/40.

Combined water meters can optionally feature faceplates being ready for an upgrade with pulse or communication modules for the needs of integration into central control systems (CNS) or remote meter reading systems.
