Electric mobility is becoming an increasingly important part of the transition to a low-carbon society. The number of electric vehicles in both Europe and Slovenia continues to grow year after year, driving the need for accessible and reliable charging infrastructure. The development of such solutions plays a significant role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, and decreasing dependence on fossil fuels.
According to European and Slovenian institutions, the number of newly registered electric vehicles in Slovenia increased by more than 100% in 2025 (from 3,148 newly registered electric passenger vehicles in 2024 to 6,419 in 2025), while electric vehicles already account for nearly one-fifth of all new vehicle registrations across the European Union. By installing a new charging station, CMC GROUP is actively contributing to the development of infrastructure that is essential for the continued transition to cleaner forms of mobility. At the same time, we encourage sustainable practices among our employees and the wider business community.
We believe that responsible decisions and concrete actions are key to achieving environmental goals. Therefore, we will continue to seek opportunities to improve energy efficiency, promote sustainable mobility, and contribute to environmental protection in the future.
