Can piping installations be completed faster?
Mechanical installation contractors and design engineers are faced with increasingly stringent deadline requirements from clients, both in the preparation of project documentation and later in the actual implementation.

For quick and easy implementation of piping installations, CMC employs the Victaulic software. Related products and product solutions can be used in a wide range of activities, such as HVAC, industrial and mining applications, tunnel construction, shipbuilding, waste water treatment, fire protection, etc. Victaulic thus offers a broad range of solutions for joining pipelines, reducing dilatations, reducing vibration and stress on pipes, facilitating pipeline maintenance, and earthquake resistant installations. Installation is carried out without any fire risk to the building. Black, inox, Al, copper, PEHD, GRP or PVC pipes can be used, allowing a suitable choice in accordance with the project requirements.

Victaulic implementation meets the high demands, including tight deadlines and challenging work conditions. For the most difficult and complex projects, Victaulic offers a complete solution with piping drawing in Revit, drawing and prefabrication of piping and skids with QR code traceability of the elements, and delivery to the job site according to the scheduling plan for execution. This allows the work to be completed in 25-30% of the time that would otherwise be required for welding execution.

All of the above-mentioned advantages were presented at a special training done by Etienne Mitrece, Engineering Business Development Manager, and Kenneth Verlinden, VDC EMEA BIM & Content Manager.

In addition to design engineers and contractors performing mechanical installation works, the seminar was also attended by clients, as well as professionals from operators and maintenance companies for pipeline systems. There was a consensus that the live exchange of good practices and experience is very useful.
