We successfully concluded civic, mechanical and electrical works required for the installation of 22 control points in terms of wastewater flow and pressure / level measuring within the project "Supply and installation of flow, pressure or level meters, telemetry equipment and GPRS data transmission from individual meters to the SCADA system, including its upgrade within the frame of the Drinkadria project"; as part of the Adriatic cross-border cooperation project IPA.
CMC Ekocon was entrusted with the implementation – on the grounds of previous, successfully implemented projects for monitoring the water supply networks of Ljubljana, Domžale and Logatec. We concluded the project – including supplying the entire equipment – within only two months.
As a curiosity – the project envisaged for the flow meters to be "dug-in" without using a water meter chamber at several points. The Aquamaster flow meters, made by ABB, were considered the best solution for installations of this kind. The power supply option for renewable resources on the flow meter transducer provided for the easiest possible integration into systems, being powered by either solar energy or electricity from the grid.
For the duration of the project, we cooperated with several subcontractors from the entire country, and at this point, we wish to once again thank them for their cooperation.
