Within the frame of the reconstruction of the public water supply network, our company supplied the materials and carried out installation works. The project involved the installation of 400m of ductile iron pipes (DN200 and DN300), installation of a hydrant network at the Ajdovščina square, as well as the connection of individual households and two drinking fountains thereto.
At the same time, public lighting was being reconstructed. As a sub-contractor to KPL d. d., our company began supplying and installing materials for the public lighting system in March 2015. Works included setting-up 7 lampposts, hanging-up longitudinal and transverse steel wires, wiring, mounting of LED-lights, installation of ground-level LED-lights, renovation of the street lighting switching station at Pošta Slovenije, and upgrading the communication system of the control system with LED-lights.
In cooperation with our partners and project engineers, we developed a new type of smart LED-lights, suitable for hanging-up on steel wires, specifically for the area of the street "Slovenska cesta".
The works continued in the area of the street "Cankarjeva cesta" in Ljubljana, where we — as a sub-contractor to the company KPL d.d., in August 2015 — started reconstructing the primary water supply system DI DN325, first implemented in 1889, as well as the secondary water supply system DI DN100. We installed a total of 750m of ductile iron pipes DN400, DN300 and DN100, and renovated many individual household connections.
