The training was intended for all those involved in the design of water supply and sewerage systems, both construction and mechanical, project managers, supervisors, and anyone directly or indirectly associated with them. Participants from private companies and public utility companies learned about the advantages of ductile cast iron over other plumbing materials, the ability to protect pipes in relation to the soil in which they are laid, and their joining methods according to terrain configuration.
Technical support engineers from Saint Gobain PAM have introduced the PAMTOOLS smartphone application, which is a great design and control utility, and the PAMCAD application that facilitates the design and drawing of plumbing systems.
In addition, we introduced the use of pipes and fittings for sewerage and drainage from the manufacturer Poloplast, which are made of three-layer PP and have a number of advantages in low and high construction. The expert meeting was also supported by up-to-date guidelines and examples of good practice.
The participants agreed that this kind of training, based on practical examples and exchange of experience, will be very helpful for the future work.
